We have moved and looking ahead to re-openning

We are so excited to have moved premises!

Just a few minutes walk from our old location, still in Farnham town centre, Our new premises offers us so much more for the future of Beverley Edmondson millinery.

Whilst i’m sure people will read into our move as it being due to the pandemic, and of course, the past year hasn’t been easy and has thrown us a few new challenges, but moving has always been in our long term plan. No pandemic was going to stop us from looking ahead to the future of Beverley Edmondson Millinery.

We had already started working towards moving almost 2 years ago. To grow, improve our services and to work towards a great working environment for myself and my colleagues’.

We don’t believe in standing still in business, change is invigorating and is always a positive step forwards towards the future.

Having the shop front that we have been in, we always compromised on studio space for making our millinery and running our workshops in.

Unwittingly this affected our ability to create the millinery that we wanted to create, always tripping over each other, and never space to really get creative, this mixed alongside a busy shop floor, the production part of the business started to suffer as we grew.

The shop floor always needed to come first to be able to give you the best customer experience, but this as the business has grown has meant that we were always in a situation where the production side came second, making pieces evenings and weekends and generally overworking in a way that was not sustainable long term.

The shop front has obviously given us huge visibility over the years, and we are so grateful for the growth we have experienced there over the past 11 years. Without it we wouldn’t have the business we have today, but time moves on.

The behind the scenes part of the business (our studio and teaching) had outgrown our shop and the next chapter was calling;

The new showroom and studio is large and spacious (our biggest space yet!). It allows us to offer personal 1-2-1 service directly for you with private appointments available 6 days a week and 3 mornings a week offering walk-ins. (Giving you the chance just to come and have a nose, ask any questions and get a feel for what we do and how we work).

The new showroom gives us the ability to give you more of our time, focused entirely on you in a more relaxing environment than we could ever offer on a shop floor. Whilst the spacious creative studio will allow us to expand our millinery production, get really creative again and offer more of our popular millinery classes.

Our new address is:

The Oast House

5 Mead Lane

Our diary for appointments is open and you can book from the 12th April onwards when restrictions are lifted. And we are so excited to welcome you back and get these weddings and events on the road again!

Our walk in days are still to be confirmed, but we will let you know via the visit us page (that we are creating shortly)  along with all other details to make the most of your visit.

In the meantime, we are offering virtual zoom consultations, our online shop is open, offering click and collect, courier delivery and home delivery within 5 miles of Farnham.

We will soon be preparing a super sale of some of the items that we didn’t need to take with us in the move, everything from shop display items, Christmas decorations, hats, fascinators and accessories. So keep you eyes peeled on our online shop and social media pages for some epic bargains!

We are so excited for the future of Beverley Edmondson Millinery, offering you an even better service and even better designs! We look forward to you joining us in our next chapter…

….onwards and upwards!
