Do I need an appointment?
Yes, Choosing a hat or fascinator takes time, so appointments allow us to provide you with the time you deserve with one of our experienced team. By booking an appointment you are also guaranteed the use of our comfortable client dressing room.

Do I need to bring my outfit?
Yes if at all possible. It is easier to have as much of your outfit as possible with you, (including shoes and accessories) to achieve the premium colour match and proportion to suit you. This is particularly important if you are having a bespoke hat created especially for you.
N.B. Photographs and small swatches are often not good enough guides and can often lead to second guessing or a second visit.

Where do I park?

We have 1 parking space available, that we can ONLY offer to PRE-BOOKED APPOINTMENTS

Unfortunately we can NOT offer parking for walk in clients (Please see our footer for our current walk-in days). When you book your appointment, we will let you know where you can park. If you are using our walk-in services, please park in one of the town centre public car parks, or the on street parking on West Street.

I don’t have my shoes or bag yet is this a problem?
No, as we also offer the fabulous range of Rainbow Club shoes and bags that can be dyed to match or complement your hat or outfit. We also have several collections of clutch bags in store. we can also offer advice on where else you can look for your accessories.

What is the lead time for a bespoke hat?
Ideally we need 6 – 8 weeks to create a bespoke Beverley Edmondson piece. However if time is short we do have over 400 hats and fascinators in stock that can be taken away immediately or that we can make slight adjustments to.

How much does a hat cost?
There is a hat to suit all budgets. A fascinator starts from just £60 and hats start from £200.

Do you hire hats?
No we do not hire hats, as milliners we believe that every client deserves a hat that they have chosen to suit their style and event and fits perfectly.

Can you repair hats?
Yes we can! Bring your tired or damaged hat to us and we will give it a new lease of life or even a re-trim. Lead times may vary depending on work and materials required.

Do you stock bridal accessories?
In the boutique we stock beautiful bridal accessories; flowers, birdcage veils and tiaras or we can design and make a piece especially created for you on your special day.

Do you only sell hats?
Our showroom, although predominantly millinery, stocks a wealth of fashion accessories including:

  • Wraps and pashminas
  • Scarves
  • Clutch bags
  • Corsages
  • Casual hats: sunhats, rain hats, winter hats
  • Umbrellas
  • Hair accessories

Do you offer any other services?

  • Fascinator making hen parties and events
  • Private millinery tuition for those wishing to try their hand at millinery or further develop their skills.
