In the past, we’ve posted many a blog post about things that are going on in the shop, what we sell and other events we get involved with, this time we decided to create a post about the team. A little insight in to each of us, our roles within the business and what we love about being a part of it! Obviously, because we aren’t all in the shop at the same time, many of you probably haven’t gotten the chance to meet all of us! And if you haven’t visited us before, this might give you a little idea as to what to expect from us.
Due to the success of our millinery workshop programme this past autumn, Beverley has decided to run another series of classes and workshops in the New Year.
The courses and classes are aimed at all skill levels, you don’t need to have any previous millinery experience, as long as you can thread a needle you will get along just fine! But Beverley will also cater for those who do have some previous knowledge.
This autumn, we decided to dabble in offering a few millinery classes to our customers, budding milliners and a cluck of hens!
Hen Party Fascinator Workshop
We started our series of classes by hosting a hen party at the Jam Tree in Fulham. The Hen organisers had booked out the top floor of this quirky bar, with nibble and cocktails flowing for a mad hatter’s themed day. We set up a huge array of materials and several ideas for headpieces and set to making a selection of fascinators under Beverley’s guidance.
