Behind the scenes: Urban Tribal photoshoot

Never mind the smog – we at Beverley Edmondson were so thrilled to be part of this stunning photoshoot showcasing just how beautiful city weddings can be. Everyone wants their wedding to reflect themselves, and with the tribal trend so strong right now, this shoot stemmed from the notion that for proud Londoners, that tribe is the Urban Tribe!

So, in keeping with a tribal theme, this shoot saw a bold and bright colour palette of  strong blues and greens complimented by pops of bright orange and purple as accents. Geometrical and chevron elements were incorporated in the stunning tableware and stationary, with a vibrant blue and green table runner matching perfectly with Ananya Cards’ intricate and expertly finished stationary choices.

The beautiful flowers, including a showstopping hanging floral arrangement, added a softer touch to the angular tribal detailing with their wispy fronds of green peeking out amongst the bolder purples and orange. We think this shoot was absolutely stunning and we hope it inspires you to think about your own tribe when planning your special day!

As for our contribution, of course, we at Beverley Edmondson were proud to provide those final finishing touches to the brides gorgeous dresses. First, some geometric earrings and rings from our luxury accessories sister brand 27-b tied in some of the tribal elements from the decor. Our beautiful model Lara also wore some of our stunning Swarovski crystal encrusted bridal shoes, which can be dyed to any colour – handy if you wish to take a leaf out of our book here and create such a bold and beautiful colour scheme!

Incorporating some of the blue elements into her look, Lara wore one of our brass and teal leaf and antler hair grips, finished with delicate and elegant feather detailing, brass flowers and some teal beads in her elegant and sophisticated updo. For the second look, we opted for this beautifully delicate Swarovski encrusted suede and rafia headband which features slender trails blending into the hair finished with tribal inspired charms on the end, which sway prettily as you move.

Have a look through our gallery and let us know what you think! And of course, if you have been inspired by this shoot and would like us to help you get those little finishing touches just right, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
